INITIAL CONSULTATION FOR NEW PATIENTS
When you arrive at Vibrant Health Osteopathy and Pilates for your first osteopathic appointment you will be greeted by one of our friendly team and asked to fill out some essential paperwork. On completion of this you will meet with your osteopath and go through the problem you are experiencing in detail and an extensive medical history. This is to give us a thorough understanding of how your body is currently functioning.
Your osteopath will then perform a comprehensive examination using range of motion assessments and standard medical tests to determine the source of your problem. Your treatment will be tailored by your osteopath to your individual needs. They will utilise techniques appropriate to your condition which may include massage, joint mobilization and stretching. Your osteopath will additionally provide you with advice for the ongoing management of your condition which can include strengthening exercises, stretches, ergonomics and lifestyle advice. Please bring any X-Rays or scans with you for your osteopath to review, and the details of any medications you are currently taking.
